Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the must-do day trips from Madrid. On this half-day tour, you will visit the most iconic spots without wasting time on logistics. You will depart from the Neptune Fountain in Madrid and arrive in Toledo in approximately one hour, where you will visit the Suárez artisan sword workshop to discover a unique tradition. Then, you will take a guided walking tour through the historic center of approximately 60 minutes and have free time to continue exploring on your own. During booking you can choose between the guided tour (€34) or add the guided visit to Santo Tomé Church, home to El Greco's "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz", for €5 more (€39 in total).

Fuente de Neptuno (Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo) / San Bernardo 5, Local 13 (Gran Vía)
Two departure points, choose your preferred one when booking. Fuente de Neptuno, at Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo: departures at 09:30 and 12:00. San Bernardo 5 visitor centre, Local 13 (Gran Vía area): pickup at 09:00 and 11:30. Arrive 15 minutes before your departure time and join the queue: the operator's staff will check you in and you will need to show your ticket (digital or printed) before boarding the coach. The return trip ends at Fuente de Neptuno.
The Toledo Express lasts approximately 6 hours. Two daily departures from Fuente de Neptuno in central Madrid: 9:30 AM (the coach leaves Toledo at 2:30 PM and is back in Madrid around 3:30 PM) and 12:00 noon (leaves Toledo at 5:00 PM, back around 6:00 PM). This makes it the perfect option if you want to spend the rest of the day exploring Madrid or have an evening flight or train.
The Toledo Express includes round-trip transport by air-conditioned coach, a bilingual expert guide, a 60-minute guided walking tour of the UNESCO historic centre (Zocodover Square, Jewish Quarter, Cathedral exterior), an artisanal Suárez sword workshop demonstration, and free time for lunch or independent exploration. During booking you can add the guided visit to Santo Tomé Church for only €5 more (€39 total).
The Express covers the visual highlights of Toledo's medieval old town in a morning. If you want more hours in the city, with free time to eat and the option to add a guided Cathedral visit, choose Toledo Experience instead.
